Virtual geographic numbers (VGN)
Whatever the dialling code in the UK, we can set up a virtual number which to the caller looks and behaves like a regular phone number. For micro and small businesses these numbers are ideal because they can provide them with similar functionality to a complex switchboard facility at a fraction of the cost.
Key benefits of Virtual geographic numbers are:
- International calls are accepted on them from all countries
- The number can move to wherever the business is by simply rerouting - saving stationary costs and potential lost business
- Callers possible concerns regarding 08 numbers are elimintated
- People who call from mobile phones don't get charged an excess and the calls can be taken of the contracted minutes
- Allows the business to give the impression of a local presence
- More than one virtual geographic number can be given to give the impression of multiple offices round the country
- Power cuts or other line disruptions can be automatically dealt with through diverting to another phone or messaging service
